About the Opportunity

Maintain general ledgers for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships using accounting software and Excel.

Prepare bank reconciliations and record year-end journal entries.

Process multi-currency investment transactions, including securities, private investments, real estate, and foreign exchange activity.

Enter accounts payable invoices, record payments, and prepare payments for approval.

Ensure invoices, payments, and supporting documents are accurately maintained and filed.

Collect and organize financial documentation from internal and external stakeholders across multiple entities.

Follow up on outstanding documentation to maintain complete records and audit support.

Maintain organized electronic filing systems and financial records.
-
Prepare year-end working papers and supporting schedules in Excel.
-
Compile documentation required for personal and corporate tax reporting.
-
Coordinate with external accounting and tax professionals during year-end processes.
-
Assist with indirect tax filings, government remittances, and related compliance requirements.
-
Provide administrative and accounting support as required.
About You-
2+ years of experience with bookkeeping, including AP (Wires/EFTs), bank reconciliations, tax filings, and supporting with year-end is required

Advanced Excel- Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs is a must
-
CPA in progress or plans to pursue required

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be a strong asset

Experience with Power Query would be highly regarded

Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000/year
