Schedule: Full-time | 5 days/week in office
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 + Benefits

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting team in Aurora.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution. You will oversee accounting operations across a complex multi-entity organization, lead a high-performing team, and play a key role in financial reporting, acquisitions, and process improvements.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
- Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Review financial statements and analyze variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support annual financial statement preparation and compliance with ASPE.
Intercompany & Consolidation
- Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations across 100+ entities.
- Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and accurate consolidation reporting.
- Maintain integrity and consistency of financial information across the organization.
Fixed Assets, Leases & Acquisitions
- Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and lease accounting activities.
- Support acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation entries and integration activities.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting of acquisition-related transactions.
Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Maintain strong internal controls and support year-end audits.
- Oversee indirect tax compliance, including HST filings and reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and scalability as the business continues to grow.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team.
- Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Partner closely with operations, payroll, legal, and executive leadership teams.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and ASPE.
- Experience in multi-entity accounting environments, including consolidations and intercompany accounting.
- Experience with fixed assets, lease accounting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth or acquisitive organization.
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions or post-acquisition integrations.
- Experience with Sage 300 or similar ERP systems.
- Background in environmental, industrial, or service-based industries.
- Bilingual in English and French.
