About us
Idealride builds the all-in-one CRM and dealership management platform used by independent used-car dealerships across Ontario. Our software runs an AI sales agent that texts and emails every lead within minutes, plus the tools dealers use to run the business day to day — inventory and profit tracking, OMVIC-compliant bills of sale, service workflows, accounting, and live market pricing data.
We're a small, fast-moving team. The product is built and in use — we need someone to put it in front of more dealers.
The role
Are you a closer? You'll own the full sales cycle: find dealerships, get them on the phone, show them the platform, and close them. After the sale, you keep the relationship healthy so accounts stay and grow.
This is a cold-calling role. A large part of your day is picking up the phone and calling dealership owners and general managers who have never heard of us. If that's a dealbreaker, this isn't the job — but if you're good at it, the pipeline is wide open and the commission is uncapped. Includes a monthly residual for every dealership you onboard.
What you'll do
- Make outbound calls daily to used-car dealerships across Ontario (and beyond) — this is the core of the role
- Build and work your own prospect list; research dealers before you call
- Run online demos of the platform, tailored to what that dealer actually struggles with
- Handle objections from owners who are busy, skeptical, or already using something else
- Close new accounts and hit monthly targets
- Onboard new dealers and stay in touch so they succeed and renew
- Bring what you hear on the phone back to the team — you'll directly shape the product roadmap
What we're looking for
- Proven outbound sales experience — you've cold called before and hit quota doing it
- Comfortable talking to dealership owners: direct, no fluff, thick-skinned
- Able to explain software to non-technical people in plain language
- Organized enough to manage your own pipeline without being chased
- Self-motivated; you can work independently and stay disciplined about call volume
Nice to have
- Experience in the automotive industry (dealership, F&I, auto finance, or vendor sales)
- SaaS or software sales background
- Familiarity with OMVIC or Ontario dealer operations
- A second language
