Job Overview:
- Enbridge Gas Inc is further advancing an industry-leading Integrity Management Program designed to ensure the safety, reliability, and long-term performance of our natural gas system assets. The Integrity Department is responsible for assessing asset condition, verifying fitness for continued operation, and supporting evidence-based decisions for maintenance or replacement when assets approach end-of-life.

This role is part of the Integrity Assessments & Risk – Facilities & Distribution (IAR-F&D) team.

The Facilities Integrity function focuses on critical sites that interconnect multiple gas system assets. These facilities play a vital role in:
-
Gas pressure regulation (compression and reduction)
-
Measurement and control
-
Gas conditioning and delivery to customers
-
The team evaluates risks associated with these facilities by applying reliability engineering principles, statistical analysis, and risk management methodologies. Each asset within these facilities must be rigorously assessed to ensure it remains safe, reliable, and fit for service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quantitative risk assessments to evaluate:
-
Probability of asset failure (PoF)
-
Consequences of failure (CoF)
-
Analyze risks associated with critical facility assets across the Enbridge Gas system
-
Conduct end-to-end analytical workflows, including:
-
Data collection, integration, and validation
-
Data quality assessments and improvement
-
Trend analysis and pattern identification
-
Statistical and reliability model development
-
Model selection, testing, and validation
-
Results verification and documentation
-
Develop and maintain models to support asset integrity decision-making
-
Translate analytical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support risk-informed planning and investment decisions
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
-
Experience in data analytics, including:
-
Data quality assessment
-
Data preprocessing and validation
-
Proficiency in one or more of the following:
Preferred

Experience with machine learning or AI applications in engineering or asset management

Strong background in:

Reliability modeling
-
Statistical analysis

Familiarity with enterprise asset management systems such as:
