About AMZ Prep
AMZ Prep is a North American omnichannel fulfillment company built for e-commerce brands that are done experimenting and ready to scale. We operate 20+ warehouses across the US, Canada, and Europe, run one of the few approved Seller Fulfilled Prime networks on the continent, and serve brands doing $5M-$50M+ across cosmetics, food and beverage, pet, supplements, apparel, home, and big and bulky categories.
Our clients sell on Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, retail, and B2B. They come to us because operations became the bottleneck, and we fix that.
We move fast, we own outcomes, and we're building a team that matches the ambition of the company.
The Role
We're looking for an Account Manager, Warehousing and Parcel to own the day-to-day operational relationship with a select group of our warehouse partners.
This is a hands-on role. You will be the person those facilities talk to every day. You'll run the check-ins, chase the exceptions, keep SLA on track, and make sure issues get resolved before a merchant ever feels them.
You'll report to the Head of Network and work alongside Operations, Client Success, and the Parcel team. This is a strong seat for someone with a few years of logistics or 3PL experience who wants ownership of real sites and a clear path into network leadership.
You are not designing the network. You are making your part of it run well every single day.
What You'll Own
Day-to-Day Partner Management
- Own the daily operational relationship with a select group of partner warehouses, typically 4 to 8 sites
- Run the weekly check-in with each of your facilities, including agenda, notes, and action items
- Monitor daily order flow, receiving queues, and open exceptions across your sites
- Be the first point of contact when a facility has a question, a blocker, or a capacity issue
- Build real working relationships with the people on the floor, not just the account contacts
Escalations and Issue Resolution
- Triage inbound issues from your sites and from Client Success, and drive each one to resolution
- Chase down late orders, missed pickups, receiving delays, and inventory discrepancies
- Escalate to the Head of Network early when something is at risk of becoming client-facing
- Document what happened, what fixed it, and what needs to change so it doesn't repeat
- Keep Client Success updated on anything affecting their accounts
SLA, Reporting, and Data
- Track performance across your sites, including on-time fulfillment, SLA percentage, inbound to check-in time, and inventory accuracy
- Maintain weekly scorecards for each facility you own
- Pull and review data daily, spot patterns, and raise trends before they turn into misses
- Prepare the reporting inputs for MBRs and QBRs with your partner facilities
- Support the Head of Network in running those reviews
Parcel Operations Support
- Support day-to-day parcel operations across your sites, including carrier pickups, label and rate issues, and tracking exceptions
- Work with carriers on service failures, claims, and delivery escalations
- Help roll out parcel programs and new carrier setups at your facilities
- Track parcel performance data and flag cost or service issues
Onboarding, SOPs, and Training
- Support onboarding for new merchants launching at your sites, including workflow setup and first-order monitoring
- Support onboarding for new partner facilities as the network expands
- Train partner teams on our processes, standards, and tools
- Keep SOPs current for the sites you own
- Make sure partners actually adopt the required systems and workflows
Cross-Team Coordination
- Work with Client Success on merchant issues, launches, and volume changes
- Work with Finance on invoice questions, billing discrepancies, and cost data from your sites
- Work with the Technology team to flag reporting gaps and test new tools
- Give Sales accurate answers on what your facilities can and cannot support
Metrics You Own
- On-time fulfillment across your sites
- SLA percentage
- Inbound to check-in time
- Inventory accuracy
- Escalation resolution time
- Weekly check-in and reporting cadence completed on time
What We're Looking For
- 1-4 years of experience in warehousing, 3PL, fulfillment, freight, parcel, or e-commerce operations
- Hands-on familiarity with pick, pack, receiving, or prep workflows
- Comfortable in spreadsheets, and able to pull a report, spot an outlier, and explain what it means
- Organized and persistent, because a lot of this job is following up until something is actually done
- Clear communicator who can hold a partner accountable without damaging the relationship
- Calm under pressure, since things break and merchants notice quickly
- Willing to travel occasionally for launches, audits, or escalations, roughly 10% of the role
- Exposure to a WMS such as ShipHero or Logiwa is a strong plus
- Amazon, SFP, or marketplace fulfillment experience is a plus
Our Values
Our team operates with a few simple principles that guide how we work. If you don't align with these values, we'd recommend you don't apply.
Win Relentlessly. We work hard and stay resilient when things get difficult. We push to raise the bar every day and are obsessed with delivering results for our merchants.
Own the Outcome. We take responsibility for the results of our work. When something breaks, we step in, fix it, and make sure it does not happen again.
Be Humbly Confident. We are confident in our abilities but grounded in how we work with others. We communicate directly, avoid politics, and call out issues early.
Obsess Over Data. Data drives how we operate. We use numbers to identify problems, improve processes, and make better decisions.
What Success Looks Like
- Your sites hit SLA consistently, and when they slip you already know why
- Escalations get resolved quickly and stop repeating
- Client Success never gets surprised by something you knew about first
- Partner facilities follow our standards because you trained them and hold them to it
- The Head of Network can rely on your sites running without daily oversight
