Content Creator – Narcos Tacos

Company: Narcos Tacos
Job Type: Part-Time / Contract - Can be extended and changed to full time pending peformance
Location: 2072 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough Ontario
Schedule: 3 Days Per Week (In-Person at Restaurant)

Job Overview

Narcos Tacos is looking for a creative, energetic, and trend-driven Content Creator to help grow our brand across social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food, storytelling, short-form video content, and social media growth.

The Content Creator will work on-site at the restaurant 3 days per week to capture content, create engaging posts, and manage our online presence across multiple platforms. You’ll be responsible for showcasing our food, atmosphere, team culture, and customer experience in a way that builds engagement and drives traffic to the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Create and publish a minimum of 4 high-quality social media posts per week
Manage and maintain 5 social media accounts including posting, engagement, scheduling, and audience interaction
Capture photo and video content at the restaurant during scheduled workdays
Create engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms
Write captions, promotional content, and social media copy aligned with the Narcos Tacos brand
Stay updated on viral trends, sounds, and social media strategies
Engage with followers, comments, and direct messages professionally
Coordinate with management on promotions, menu features, events, and campaigns
Maintain consistent branding, tone, and visual style across all platforms
Monitor social media performance and provide analytics reports on audience growth, engagement, reach, and platform performance
Track how much outreach and customer engagement each social media platform generates and provide insights/recommendations for improvement

Expectations

Minimum of 4 posts per week across designated platforms
Must be present at the restaurant 3 days per week for content creation
Active management and monitoring of all 5 social media accounts
Monthly or bi-weekly reporting on:
Views and reach
Engagement rates
Follower growth
Video performance
Customer interactions
Platform-specific outreach and traffic performance
Ability to consistently produce creative, trend-relevant, and high-quality content that reflects the Narcos Tacos brand

Requirements

Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and similar platforms
Comfortable filming in a restaurant environment
Strong video editing skills using apps/software such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
Ability to work independently and meet weekly posting deadlines
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
Understanding of current social media trends and audience engagement
Portfolio or examples of previous content work preferred

Preferred Skills

Food photography/videography experience
Graphic design experience
Experience growing business social media accounts
Knowledge of analytics tools and social media insights
