Hours: Monday to Friday, various start times and hours
Compensation: $32.37 per hour

Summary:
The Roll-Off DZ Driver is responsible for safely operating a roll-off truck to service commercial and industrial customers while ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of containers. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain safety standards, and ensure routes are completed efficiently in accordance with Miller Waste Systems protocols.
Responsibilities:
In the position of ICI Roll-Off DZ Driver, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Safely operate a Roll-Off truck.
- Possess strong knowledge and work out of the Kawartha Lakes and Port Perry areas.
- Ensure customers are serviced according to their contractual requirements and schedules.
- Safely push and pull containers of various sizes, including unlocking and locking containers and enclosures/rooms.
- Ensure pick-up and delivery schedules are met as assigned.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Meet or exceed performance expectations through proven results.
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Valid DZ Driver’s Licence required.
- Minimum 1 year of Roll-Off driving experience is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility with work schedule, as start and end times may vary.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills preferred.
- Excellent attendance and performance record.
- Availability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when required.
