Location: Whitby, Ontario
Job Type: Contract / Freelance / Event-Based
Schedule: Occasional evenings and weekends
Compensation: $200–$250 event guarantee + commission on directly attributable package/service sales
About the Role
Morgan Sarah Beauty Studio is looking for an experienced medical aesthetics sales professional to support select client events, launches, masterclasses and promotional periods at our Whitby studio.
This is not a reception, aesthetician or general customer-service position.
We are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable taking warm, interested clients and helping them confidently move from consideration to purchase — including treatment packages, memberships, skincare programs and future bookings.
You’ll work alongside the studio owner and treatment providers during intimate, education-focused events where clients have already been introduced to our services and recommendations. Your role is to make the purchasing and booking process seamless, answer non-clinical questions, overcome reasonable objections, and close appropriate sales without creating a high-pressure environment.
The right person will be warm, polished and highly personable, but also genuinely comfortable asking for the sale.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with event guests and prospective clients following presentations, consultations and demonstrations
- Identify client interests and guide them toward appropriate pre-approved service or package options
- Confidently present pricing, package value, promotions and payment options
- Handle common sales objections around price, timing and commitment
- Close treatment packages, memberships and follow-up services
- Collect payments or deposits and book future appointments
- Support retail sales where appropriate
- Maintain accurate tracking of conversations, sales, revenue and bookings
- Follow established studio scripts, offers and client-experience standards
- Escalate all clinical, medical, contraindication and treatment-suitability questions to the appropriate practitioner
- Help ensure every guest leaves feeling supported, informed and well cared for
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in medical aesthetics, cosmetic medicine, plastic surgery, laser clinics, cosmetic dentistry or another high-ticket consultative sales environment is strongly preferred.
You should be able to demonstrate experience with:
- Selling aesthetic treatment packages or programs
- Closing transactions in the $300–$2,000+ range
- Consultation-based sales
- Objection handling
- Following up with warm leads
- Working toward individual sales or revenue targets
- Booking and payment systems
- Premium client service
- Experience selling services such as microneedling, facials, laser treatments, injectables, body treatments, memberships or multi-treatment programs is an asset.
Current employment elsewhere in medical aesthetics is welcome, provided there is no conflict with your existing employer.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Are
- Confident without being aggressive
- Naturally warm and conversational
- Comfortable discussing money and asking for the sale
- Highly polished and professional
- Able to quickly build rapport with women approximately 35+
- Interested in beauty, skincare and medical aesthetics
- Motivated by performance and measurable results
- Comfortable working independently in a small business environment
- Available for occasional evenings and weekends in Whitby
Our sales approach is education-led, consultative and never fear-based. We are not looking for someone who pressures clients into unnecessary services or makes clinical recommendations outside their scope.
Compensation
Compensation will include:
- $200–$250 guaranteed event fee, depending on event length and responsibilities
- Commission on directly attributable service and package sales
- Potential additional opportunities for launches, promotional periods, client follow-up and future studio events
Typical events will be approximately 3–5 hours.
This role is initially being hired on a freelance/event basis, with the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right person.
Upcoming Opportunities
Initial opportunities will include:
- Studio grand opening and promotional events
- Skincare education events
- Makeup masterclasses
- Seasonal package launches
- Select sales-focused client events
