Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Assist with plating dishes attractively and efficiently for service
Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food service, and meal preparation

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Proven skills in cooking, food preparation, and meal assembly
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in a professional setting
Experience working in the food industry or similar fast-paced culinary environments is advantageous
Strong understanding of serving standards, food presentation, and customer service principles
