Full job description

A rapidly growing AI startup is seeking a skilled and motivated Python programmer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development and a passion for technology. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires proficiency in various programming languages and technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

It starts as a part-time role and has the potential to become a full-time position.

This role has an equity component for those who are interested.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software applications using Python.
Design and implement database structures to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Utilize ML and AI techniques to enhance application functionality.
Implement AI solutions to improve user experience and application performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software reliability.
Document code changes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Experience

Proven experience in programming with Python.
Familiarity with database design principles and experience with SQL databases.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and natural language processing techniques is a plus.
Experience with AWS services for cloud-based application development is desirable.
Proficiency in Linux.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.

Pay: $29.38-$46.99 per hour

Work Location: Remote
