About the role:

The MRI Technologist is a member of the patient care team, who, in collaboration with other health care professionals provides shockingly excellent patient care through their technical expertise.

What you bring:

Diploma/Degree in Medical Radiation Technology from an accredited educational institution

Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario, CMRTO with specialization in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRT. (MR)

Member of the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS)

3-5 years MRI experience preferred

Safety awareness, including MR safety

3 Tesla MRI experience considered an asset

Excellent knowledge of cross sectional anatomy

Competent in injecting contrast and inserting IVs is required

Point of Care Creatinine iStat training an asset

Central Venous Access training through SOLs an asset

Demonstrated ongoing continuing education

Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal

Analysis / problem assessment

Innovative and willing to learn

Demonstrates individual leadership skills
