What Is The Opportunity?
Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rails and Systems (SSE-SRS) package. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools and other key destinations throughout the city.
As part of the Scarborough Transit Connect project based in Scarborough, Aecon is looking for a qualified Senior Project Coordinator to join our team.
This role will initially require full-time in-office presence at 100 Consilium Pl, Scarborough, and will transition to a full-time site-based position as the project progresses to support line-wide work.
What You’ll Do Here:
What You Bring to The Team:
- Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Technology diploma, degree, or postgraduate certificate required.
- 5+ years of experience in construction or infrastructure project delivery, preferably on large, complex projects.
- Experience working in an underground environment is an asset.
- P.Eng preferred or actively working toward professional designation.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Flexible to adapt work schedules as required to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborative team player who works effectively across technical, commercial, and field teams.
- Be a champion of inclusion and diversity.

The expected pay range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 per year
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
