Tenure: Full-Time
Location: Scarborough, ON
Pay Rate: $24.00–$27.00/hour (based on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional weekend shifts)

Job Description

Our client, a leading precision metal fabrication and manufacturing company in Scarborough, ON, is looking for a Metal Welder / Signage Fabricator to join their production team.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble signage, metal enclosures, cabinets, kiosks, and display systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders.
Measure, cut, bend, drill, grind, and finish aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel components.
Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders, press brakes, shears, and other shop machinery.
Perform welding, fitting, and assembly of metal components.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and meet customer specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow company safety policies, quality procedures, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
Assist with installation of fabricated signage when required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in metal fabrication, welding, sheet metal fabrication, or a similar manufacturing environment.
Experience with signage, enclosures, kiosks, cabinets, or custom metal products is an asset.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
Experience using fabrication equipment and precision measuring tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Skilled with hand tools, power tools, calipers, plasma cutters, and fabrication equipment.
Ability to safely handle and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs.
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
