Location: Newmarket, ON

Job Type: Part-Time / Contract up to 20 hours per wk. Must be available on-site 1-2 days per month at the Newmarket clinic for scheduled content capture.
Compensation: $19–$25/hour, based on experience.

About KV Skin MedSpa

We are looking for an experienced SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER to join our growing team.

KV Skin MedSpa is a clinical, results-driven medical aesthetics clinic in Newmarket, focused on helping clients feel confident in their skin through thoughtful treatment planning, advanced technology, and personalized care.

We specialize in skin rejuvenation, laser treatments, medical facials, injectables, and advanced corrective skin services. Our approach is warm, professional, and education-based — we want every client to feel informed, cared for, and confident in their treatment journey.

About the role

KV Skin MedSpa is looking for a creative and organized Social Media Manager to manage our social presence and turn treatments, client questions, promotions, and clinic activity into content that builds trust, engagement, and bookings.

You can take a single treatment — IPL, microneedling, injectables, or a facial — and turn it into a full month of relevant content, including educational Reels, FAQs, comparison posts, Stories, and promotional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop and manage the monthly social media content calendar, built around clinic priorities, seasonal skin concerns, promotions, and treatment launches
Create Reels, Stories, carousels, static posts, and short-form video.
Write captions, hooks, educational content, and calls to action.
Film and edit in-clinic — treatments, providers, behind-the-scenes, product, demos
Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and assigned social channels.
Support monthly promotions, launches, and priority services.
Monitor comments, tags, mentions, and social inquiries.
Maintain an organized library of approved photos, videos, and content assets.
Track performance including reach, engagement, video views, inquiries, website clicks, and bookings.
Provide monthly recommendations based on content performance.

What we're looking for

Experience managing social for a brand or business
Strong copywriting — hooks, captions, and educational copy that don't read as corporate
Hands-on filming and short-form video editing (CapCut or similar) plus Canva
Fluency in Instagram, Reels, Stories, and TikTok
Sharp visual judgment and attention to detail
Comfort directing staff through simple content shoots
The organization to hold a consistent publishing schedule, working independently
Willingness to be accountable for metrics and use them to improve

Strongly preferred: experience in medical aesthetics, skincare, beauty, wellness, healthcare, or another regulated industry.

Medical Aesthetics & Compliance

Ensure content avoids misleading, exaggerated, or guaranteed treatment claims.
Follow clinic standards for client privacy, consent, testimonials, and before-and-after content.
Work with clinical staff to confirm treatment information when needed.

Success in this role means creating consistent, high-quality content that:

Builds awareness and trust in the KV Skin brand.
Increases engagement and qualified local inquiries.
Supports promotions and priority treatments.
Educates prospective clients.
Contributes to consultations and bookings.
