IPG is now looking for an experienced Installation Technicians to join our team to work on various solar projects in and around the Province.

We offer

Information on the latest solar technologies, installation methods and ESA and WSIB safety considerations

Your Responsibilities will include:

Installation

Work within a crew of 2 to 8 other technicians and electricians
Install Solar Panels & Racking
Install modules and plug and play wiring according to instructions and or schematics/construction drawings.

Desired Qualifications

2-5 years construction or hands-on technician experience
Comfortable and experienced with ladders, heights and working around heavy equipment
Able to negotiate various mechanical assembly scenarios
Basic understanding of electrical circuits and installation principles
Knowledge of the use of tools such as saws, ratchets, torque wrenches, wire strippers, crimpers, volt/amp meters
Schematic reading
Build and foster effective relationships
Able to work in outdoor environments, and at times unpleasant temperatures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
