Full job description

Position Overview

The automotive sales and operations manager will be responsible for managing the in-store customer experience, driving sales, developing customers relationships, supporting team performance, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

Sales and Business development

Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
conduct consultations, prepare quotations and close sales.
Follow up with leads, quotations and existing customers to maximize sales opportunities.
Identify opportunities to generate new business and increase overall revenue.

Store and Operations Management

Oversee daily in-store operations and ensure a professional customers experience.
Work closely with technicians to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to company standards.
Monitor workflow and help resolve operational issues.
Maintain high standards of professionalism,cleanliness,organization and customer service.

Team Leadership

Lead, support and motivate the in-store team.
Assist with employee training and development.
Monitor individual and team sales performance.
Lead by example and maintain a positive, productive work environment.

Reporting and Performance

Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance.
Track leads, conversions, average sales and customers follows up.
Provide management with updates on sales performance and operational matters.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies.
Ensure customer information, job details, pricing, payments and services requirements are properly communicated between the sales and operation teams.
Follow up with back end staff on incomplete, delayed , or pending jobs and ensure they are properly addressed.
Help maintain accurate inventory and communicate material or supply requirements to management.
Act as a key communication link between customers, sales staff , technicians, and management.
Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, customer experience, team productivity , and overall profitability.
Take ownership of operational challenges that happened at back end and bring solutions forward to management when additional support or decisions are required.

Requirements

Proven experience in B2B sales, technical sales, or technology-related product/service selling within a retail or similar environment.
Strong background in outside sales, account management, or business development with demonstrated success in negotiation and closing deals.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results.
Demonstrated analysis skills to interpret sales data and operational metrics for continuous improvement.
Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail environments combined with customer service expertise.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication skills with an energetic approach that inspires team members and engages customers effectively.
