We are currently seeking an experienced Subprime Financial Business Manager to join our dynamic team. If you are a driven professional with a passion for the automotive industry and a knack for finance and customer service, we want to hear from you!

Job Summary: The Subprime Financial Business Manager will be responsible for achieving sales and revenue growth expectations while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves explaining and demonstrating finance and insurance options, dealing directly with lenders and financial institutions, and preparing all necessary documentation for final vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities:

Explain and demonstrate finance and insurance options to customers.
Deal directly with lenders and financial institutions.
Prepare and document any/all documentation for final delivery.
Meet and exceed sales goals by selling extended products such as protection packages, extended warranties, life and accident/health insurance, and environmental protection packages.
Adhere to a standard of professional ethics and be respectful to customers.
Structure deals in accordance with lender and dealership guidelines.
Perform credit interviews, prepare credit applications.
Verify the accuracy of all material information on the credit application and submit it to lenders.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
Sell credit insurance and service contracts.
Maintain good lender relations.
Seek out new lender relationships and work with current lenders to secure the best interest rates for our customers.
Maintain a lender guide of programs currently in use and obtain a working knowledge of them.
Analyze credit reports, recognize a conventional deal, and turn it over accordingly.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience from purchase to finance.
Continuously update knowledge of financial services, products, and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Excellent understanding of sales, finance, and insurance.
Experience and working relationships with financial institutions and other lending parties.
Excellent oral, written, and listening skills.
Strong judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and choose the appropriate path.
Ability to read, understand, and calculate banking figures such as discounts, interest rates, percentages, and commissions.
Strong prioritization skills necessary to use time effectively and set action plans to achieve business targets.
Proficiency in standard office software and dealership management systems.
