In this vital role, you will be the friendly face behind the counter, providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving delicious food items. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, answering questions about food options and ingredients
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
Operate cash registers or point-of-sale systems accurately to process transactions efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including food prep stations and display cases
Restock supplies, condiments, utensils, and packaging materials to ensure availability throughout shifts
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards in all food handling activities
Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt, friendly service that exceeds guest expectations

Requirements

Previous experience in a fast-food or customer service environment is preferred but not mandatory
Strong communication skills with a positive, energetic attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory checks
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is an asset
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
