We are an arts and youth education institution dedicated to inspiring creativity and artistic growth in students. We are currently seeking passionate and talented part-time teachers to join our growing team.
We are currently expanding our Game & Digital Media Department and are looking for passionate and talented part-time instructors and portfolio mentors to work with high school students and aspiring university applicants.
We welcome applicants with backgrounds in game design, digital media, interactive media, animation, 3D, coding, visual effects, or related creative disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on students' levels, interests, and university goals
- Guide students through game design and digital media projects from concept development to final presentation
- Help students develop strong portfolios for university and college applications
- Provide guidance on game concepts, mechanics, storytelling, visual development, interaction, and presentation
- Teach relevant software, tools, and technical workflows
- Support students in developing original creative projects and personal styles
- Provide feedback and mentorship throughout the creative process
- Help students prepare projects for exhibitions, competitions, showcases, and university applications
Qualifications
- Educational or professional background in Game Design, Game Development, Digital Media, Interactive Media, Animation, 3D, Computer Science, Visual Arts, or a related field
- Prior teaching, industry, freelance, or professional experience preferred
- Experience with game engines or digital creative software is highly valued
- Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools is an asset
- Strong understanding of game design principles, interactive experiences, or digital media production
- Experience guiding students in portfolio development is highly valued
- Passionate about working with children and teenagers
- Strong communication, mentoring, and project-management skills
- Ability to explain technical and creative concepts clearly
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is an asset
- International education, university, or industry experience is a plus
Schedule
- Part-time / Flexible Hours
- Primarily evenings and weekends
- Teaching schedule can be coordinated based on instructor availability
Location
North York
