Job Overview

Join our team as a Water Restoration Technician and be at the forefront of helping clients recover from water damage efficiently and effectively! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for restoring properties affected by water intrusion, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction experience to bring spaces back to life. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that each project is completed safely, thoroughly, and with a focus on customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your restoration expertise while making a tangible difference in people's lives during challenging times.

Responsibilities

Assess water damage situations and determine the appropriate restoration procedures.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely to remove water, dry affected areas, and perform cleanup tasks.
Use specialized cleaning techniques to sanitize and deodorize affected surfaces and materials.
Assist with the setup and teardown of drying equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
Conduct minor construction repairs or modifications as needed during restoration projects.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including photos, reports, and logs.
Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

Skills

Some experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction environments preferred but will train the right person with a strong work ethic.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques.
Knowledge of water extraction, drying processes, and moisture detection methods.
Ability to operate restoration equipment such as dehumidifiers and moisture meters confidently.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for documentation purposes.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients professionally.
A proactive attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing project needs.
