Bloom Field Gardens is seeking a creative, motivated Marketing & Content Coordinator to join our team full-time.
This unique role supports three distinct businesses: our wedding venue, floral & garden centre, and swimming pool company. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, capturing professional photography and video, managing social media, and assisting with marketing initiatives across multiple brands.
No two days are the same. One day you may be photographing luxury pool installations, the next capturing wedding content, designing promotional materials, updating website content, or creating social media campaigns featuring fresh floral arrangements and retail products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Photography & Videography
- Capture professional photo and video content for marketing purposes
- Photograph floral arrangements, retail products, greenhouse displays, and seasonal inventory
- Capture content throughout our wedding venue and during weddings and events
- Document swimming pool installations and completed backyard projects
- Capture drone footage when required (training provided if necessary)
- Edit photos and videos for social media, website, advertising, and promotional use
- Share captured wedding content with couples following their events
Social Media Management
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across multiple social media platforms
- Write captions and create engaging content
- Manage content calendars for multiple brands
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement
- Assist with advertising campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Track performance and identify opportunities for growth
Marketing & Graphic Design
- Design social media graphics and marketing materials
- Create in-store signage, event materials, and promotional pieces
- Assist with print and digital advertising
- Maintain consistent branding across all businesses
- Create content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design tools
Website Content Management
- Update website content, photos, promotions, and marketing materials
- Assist with maintaining an attractive and up-to-date online presence
- No coding experience required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong photography and videography skills
- Experience creating content for social media platforms
- Proficiency with Canva and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Creative eye for content, branding, and design
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable attending weddings, events, and off-site content shoots
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- This is a fully in-person position based in Newcastle, Ontario
- Remote work is not available
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Weekend availability is required during wedding and event season
- Company equipment is provided
- Travel within Durham Region, Peterborough, and surrounding areas may be required
