Summary

We are seeking a Water Restoration Technician / General Labour to join our dedicated team in Canada. Based in your local area, you will play a vital role in restoring properties affected by water damage and other disasters, supporting our mission to deliver swift and effective recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

Help residential and commercial clients after they experienced a disaster (flood, fire, mold, asbestos, wind damage, etc.).
Assist skilled trades on job sites doing work related to drywall, framing, painting, carpentry, etc.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely to support restoration activities.
Support construction and repair tasks as needed during the restoration process.
Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain equipment and ensure work areas are clean and organized.
Document work performed and report progress to supervisors.
Be part of the on-call rotation.
Work to set office hours but have the ability to work off hours when requested
Perform other duties outside the description of the position when necessary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
IICRC Certifications are an asset
Prior experience or knowledge of cleaning, restoration, or construction is preferred.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Basic knowledge of computer and mobile devices
Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical ability to perform manual labour in various environmental conditions.
Willingness to learn new skills related to disaster recovery.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Required
Clear criminal background check

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
