Medical Office Assistant (MOA)

North Island Urology | 5 Days/Week

We are a fast-paced specialist medical office seeking a reliable and organized Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys patient interaction, scheduling, and coordination of care.

Position Details

Schedule: 5 days per week
Wage: $28.50/hour after probation period
Benefits: Available after probation period
No evenings, weekends or holidays

Key Responsibilities

Answering and managing high-volume phone calls
Booking, rebooking, and confirming patient appointments
Coordinating and confirming test results for upcoming appointments
Providing professional and friendly patient service at all times
General administrative duties as required

Qualifications

Experience working in a medical/healthcare office (specialist experience considered an asset), dental office, veterinary office or general office experience.
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Excellent communication and phone etiquette
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems. Plexia experience preferred
