Step into Security - Make an Impact

G-Force Security is seeking dedicated Full-Time Security Officers to join our team at Comox, BC. This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, professional appearance, and a keen sense of awareness. Successful candidates must be comfortable standing and conducting patrols for extended periods while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers, tenants, and staff.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify potential risks.
Enforce site security policies and procedures.
Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and security concerns.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents.
Control access to the property by verifying identification and managing visitor access.
Support loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing suspicious activities.
Provide professional customer service and assistance to visitors, tenants, and staff.

Requirements:

Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience is an asset but not required.
Familiarity with CCTV monitoring and surveillance practices is preferred.
Strong observation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency or high-pressure situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
Ability to pass background screening and meet all security licensing requirements.
Physically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.

Note: Secret and Reliability security clearance with the Government of Canada will be required.
