Department: Golf Department
Reports to: Director of Golf and/or Outside Services Manager and Golf Professionals
Location: On-site @ Vancouver Golf Club - 771 Austin Avenue, Coquitlam, BC
Compensation: starting wage $20.25 per hour
As an Outside Services Attendant you will play a vital role in our Member experience. The successful candidate will manage and maintain the short game area, manage the bag room, clean clubs, store clubs on racking (up to 50 pounds), take care of all members needs as requested, ensure proper handling and parking of power carts, daily cleaning initiatives, pick range balls and be the first and last impression for our Members each day.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Experience in golf operations and service hospitality.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Customer service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including tee time scheduling and POS systems.
- All golf operations positions at Vancouver Golf Club require a people first attitude, a keen desire to deliver a first class memorable experience on a daily basis, and a general love for people and golf.
- Available to work a flexible schedule during peak months (April to October), including a combination of weekends, holidays, and peak golf season hours.
Working Conditions:
- Work both indoors and outdoors throughout the golf shop, back shop, driving range and golf course.
- Regular interactions with VGC Members, guests, and staff, both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to lift and move golf equipment up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
