Snapshot of the Position

At Colemans, we delight in providing our guests with the highest quality product. We are seeking a skilled individual with a passion for baking. The responsibilities of this position would involve the daily production of a wide variety of baked goods.

What You’ll Do

Preparing and baking dough for pastry, bread and making dessert.
Frosting and decorating cakes or other baked goods.
Operating baking machines and rotating stock.
Merchandising and product displays.
Keeping work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Adhere to food, health and safety standards at all times.
Fulfill customer bakery orders or special orders as requested (i.e. catering orders).
Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Any additional duties as required.

What We Are Looking For

Strong customer service skills.
Working knowledge of basic equipment including, but not limited to, mixers, blenders, food processors.
Ability to lift up to 20 kg is a definite asset.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.

Rate of Pay

$16.35 - $17.69 per hour.

Hours of Work

32+ hours per week; mornings, days, evenings, weekends as needed; anytime availability.
