Location: Facilities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador

Employment Type: Full-Time Travel Contract Assignment

Position Overview
As a Travel Registered Nurse with Augury Healthcare, you will provide safe, high-quality patient care within your area of specialty while supporting healthcare teams across Newfoundland and Labrador.
You will adapt quickly to new clinical environments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing patient care within your nursing specialty and scope of practice
- Completing comprehensive patient assessments and developing care plans
- Administering medications, treatments, and interventions safely
- Monitoring patient conditions and recognizing changes in health status
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Supporting emergency and clinical interventions when required
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Following facility policies, procedures, and infection prevention standards
- Supporting safe, patient-centred care delivery
Qualifications
Successful candidates must have:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration in Canada
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in the applicable nursing specialty
- Current required certifications based on specialty, including:
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification where applicable
- CTAS or equivalent emergency certification where applicable
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within healthcare teams
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within Newfoundland and Labrador
Preferred qualifications:
- Active Newfoundland and Labrador RN registration
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Rural or regional healthcare experience
- Experience working in specialty hospital environments
