Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various outdoor and indoor projects related to agriculture, landscaping, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in horticulture, irrigation systems, and farm machinery operation while contributing to the upkeep and development of our facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform heavy lifting tasks required for material handling and project setup
Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems and horticultural projects
Operate farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Prunning of trees, maintanance of orchard that is of 100 acres.
Harvesting of apple crop in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning
Support planting, pruning, watering, and other horticultural activities as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently
Manually removing the weed from the ground, specifically from in between the trees.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment
Experience with irrigation systems, horticulture practices, and farm machinery preferred
Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations
Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for tools and equipment
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with attention to safety standards
Experience - 1- less than 7 months
Education - No education or degree required.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $17.60 per hour
