Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food safety practices, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to restaurant standards
Cook menu items accurately and efficiently, following recipes and presentation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards
Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service

Requirements

Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in cooking or food preparation roles
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering quality dishes to guests

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
