Overview
We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nail care and beauty services, providing exceptional experiences for clients while maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in nail artistry, body waxing, and retail sales, contributing to a welcoming and stylish environment.

Responsibilities

Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
Provide body waxing services in accordance with safety and sanitation standards
Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in compliance with health regulations
Upsell retail products such as nail care items and skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
Assist clients with appointment scheduling and product purchases
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sterilized after each use
Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and industry best practices

Qualifications

Valid state licensure as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with nail specialty certification
Experience in nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel applications, acrylics, and nail art preferred
Knowledge of body waxing procedures and sanitation protocols is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to upsell retail products confidently to enhance client experience and salon revenue
Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
