Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Cabinetry Installer to join our dynamic installation team. In this role, you will support senior installers in executing a variety of installation projects across residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Assist with the setup and preparation of job sites, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are ready for installation tasks
Support senior installers in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials according to blueprints, schematics, or project specifications
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as caulking, carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting
Help with the installation of various components including cabinetry, fixtures, flooring, and other building elements
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution

Qualifications

Prior experience in cabinetry installation or finish carpentry is required; willingness to learn is essential
Applicants must possess a valid drivers license.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Experience with hand tools and basic construction practices
Knowledge of construction processes such as carpentry, blueprint reading, caulking, restoration, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting
Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings to guide installation work
Ability to work safely with power tools and hand tools while following safety protocols
Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working on various job sites
Must be eligible to work in Canada
