Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wholesale Order Picker/Delivery Driver to join our fast growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate that we are seeking must be a healthy mature individual who will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle some heavy lifting. This role will require some long distance driving/deliveries to out bound communities out side of the Comox Valley. The successful applicant will be split with the produce department to supplement hours.

Responsibilities

Efficiently pick and prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
Maintaining delivery van cleanliness and maintenance.
Operate delivery van and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Move freight within the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and organization of products.
At slow times. Must be able to assist other depts when needed.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate order fulfillment and address any issues that may arise.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.
Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving, with a valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
Experience operating pallet jack or similar material handling equipment is highly desirable.
Ability to move freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
