Full job description

444 Construction Ltd. is seeking skilled and experienced Drywall Installers to join our dynamic team. As a Drywall Installer, you will play a critical role in our construction projects, ensuring that drywall is installed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. If you are detail-oriented, dependable, and have a passion for craftsmanship, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
Install metal and wooden framing for drywall.
Secure drywall panels to interior walls and ceilings using nails, screws, or adhesive.
Trim and fit drywall panels to specified sizes and shapes.
Prepare surfaces by taping and applying compounds to joints, nail holes, and seams.
Smooth out excess compound and allow the compound to dry.
Sand joints and seams to a smooth, seamless finish.
Ensure all installations meet company and industry standards.
Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Drywall Installer or in a similar role.
Proficient in using hand and power tools for drywall installation.
Strong knowledge of drywall techniques and methods.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Certification or apprenticeship in drywall installation is a plus.
