Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and oversee our cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all housekeeping standards are met consistently, manage a team of cleaning staff, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a background in hospitality or custodial services. Experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is preferred. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained.
Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote efficiency and professionalism.
Develop work schedules and assign tasks to team members based on occupancy levels and operational needs.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness protocols.
Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock levels.
Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Address guest concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
Maintain detailed records of staff performance, training sessions, and operational reports.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of hotel or industrial cleaning standards and procedures.
Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate staff and promote teamwork.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to enforce quality standards consistently.
Good organizational skills for scheduling, inventory management, and record keeping.
Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, guests, and other departments.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness while fostering a positive work environment.
