We’re seeking an Intermediate Procurement Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of procurement activities for medium-to-high complexity packages, including systems, equipment, and materials. - University degree or equivalent experience in industry preferred.
- Supply Chain/Project Management accreditation: SCMP, MCIPS or PMP would be an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain and procurement activities.
- Preferred experience in s hipbuilding, aerospace, defense, heavy manufacturing, or construction industries.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex procurement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of information with high attention to detail.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
