We are seeking a commercially minded Brand Manager to oversee a five-venue hospitality portfolio across Bedford and Bridgewater: Mill Cove Brew Pub, Redwood Grill, True North Diner, and Esquire in Bedford, plus Bridgewater Local Public House in Bridgewater. This is a high-impact role designed for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
You will act as the day-to-day steward of each brand, ensuring clear positioning, consistent execution, and measurable contribution to traffic and revenue. Given the part-time structure, success in this role requires strong prioritization, disciplined time management, and a focus on initiatives that drive tangible business outcomes.
This is not a passive coordination role. It is built for individuals who take ownership, move quickly, and understand how marketing directly influences performance in a hospitality environment.
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Own and evolve the positioning, voice, and identity of each concept within your portfolio
- Ensure consistency across all guest touchpoints, including in-venue experience, digital channels, and promotional campaigns
- Identify and execute opportunities to differentiate each brand within its market
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute monthly marketing calendars across all five brands
- Lead the rollout of promotions, seasonal features, and event-driven initiatives
- Collaborate with internal creative resources to deliver high-quality, on-brand marketing assets
Revenue & Traffic Growth
- Design and implement initiatives that increase guest frequency, average spend, and off-peak traffic
- Align marketing strategies with operational capabilities, menu features, and service flow
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance and guest behavior
Digital & Social Media Leadership
- Oversee social media strategy and execution across all five brands
- Ensure consistent output, tone, and engagement aligned with each brand's identity
- Identify growth opportunities through content strategy, promotions, and platform-specific tactics
Promotions & Programming
- Develop tailored promotional strategies based on concept type (restaurant, pub, brew pub, and diner)
- Balance value-driven offers with experience-led campaigns to maximize both traffic and profitability
- Evaluate effectiveness and refine programming based on results
Performance & Reporting
- Track key metrics including sales trends, campaign performance, and engagement
- Deliver concise weekly updates and structured monthly reporting
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Operations to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives
- Work alongside the Director of Marketing for strategic alignment and approvals
- Coordinate with design and content teams to maintain quality and consistency
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally within hospitality, food & beverage, or multi-location brands
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple brands, projects, or campaigns simultaneously
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour in restaurant, pub, and casual-dining environments
- Experience executing campaigns across digital channels, including social media and in-market promotions
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively in a time-constrained role

- Launch targeted initiatives that drive measurable increases in traffic and engagement
- Demonstrate clear differentiation between concepts within the portfolio
Ongoing:
- Contribute directly to revenue growth through effective campaigns and promotions
- Maintain strong alignment between marketing and operations
- Maximize output and impact within a 20-hour workweek
