We are currently seeking an experienced Security Mobile Supervisor to join our Operations Team.
Position Overview
The Security Mobile Supervisor plays a critical leadership role within our 24/7 operation. This position is responsible for supporting frontline security officers, conducting site inspections, responding to incidents, covering emergency staffing shortages, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence across multiple client locations.
This is an active field position. Successful applicants will spend the majority of their shift driving between sites, conducting inspections, responding to calls for service, coaching staff, and ensuring company standards are consistently maintained.

ResponsibilitiesOperations
- Patrol assigned client sites throughout HRM
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled quality assurance inspections
- Ensure all security officers are complying with post orders, company policies, uniforms, and client expectations
- Complete mobile patrols and property inspections
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, and client requests
- Provide operational support during major incidents and emergency situations
- Assist with special events and temporary deployments
- Secure facilities during emergencies and after-hours incidents
Staff Supervision
- Mentor, coach and support security officers
- Conduct on-site training and performance coaching
- Ensure new employees understand post orders and company expectations
- Assist with employee evaluations and performance documentation
- Address workplace concerns professionally and respectfully
- Promote a positive, professional work environment
Scheduling Support
- Respond to last-minute staffing shortages
- Cover shifts when operationally required
- Assist Operations Management with scheduling changes
- Ensure all shifts remain staffed throughout the day
- Support after-hours operational coverage
Client Relations
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Respond professionally to client concerns
- Conduct client site visits
- Ensure contractual service standards are consistently met
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Reporting & Administration
- Complete detailed incident reports
- Review officer reports for accuracy and quality
- Document inspections and deficiencies
- Maintain daily supervisor activity logs
- Utilize company technology platforms
- Assist with investigations when required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of security experience
- Minimum 1 year in a leadership, supervisor, team lead, military, corrections, policing, or similar position preferred
- Nova Scotia Security Guard Licence (eligible to obtain)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Clean Criminal Record Check
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Strong report writing skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficient using smartphones, tablets, Microsoft Office, and mobile applications
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with one or more of the following certifications will be given preference:
- Use of Force (Handcuffing & Defensive Tactics)
- Crisis Intervention / De-escalation
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
- First Aid, CPR & AED
- Basic Security Training
- Report Writing & Note Taking
- Fire Safety & Emergency Response
- Marine Facility Security Officer (MFSO)
- Mental Health First Aid
- Naloxone Administration
Schedule
Our operations run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Applicants must be available to work:
- Days
- Evenings
- Nights
- Weekends
- Holidays
- On-call as required
