Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as we value diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and assistance as needed.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provide local area information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions.
Proficiency in phone systems and excellent phone etiquette.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
Familiarity with hotel operations and management software is advantageous but not required.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
