Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. Your impact
You will help keep site control systems safe, reliable, and high-performing by improving system availability, resolving issues quickly, and supporting continuous improvement across industrial control systems.

Support and maintain site control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA)

Monitor system performance and drive improvements

Troubleshoot and resolve control system, network, and hardware issues

Implement system changes and support site projects

Work closely with operations, maintenance, and vendors

Contribute to safety, compliance, and cybersecurity standards
Prerequisites for your success in this role

Experience with industrial control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability

Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols

Understanding of IT/OT environments and cybersecurity practices

Relevant degree with current EGBC registration in good standing

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders

Your work environment
This is a site-based technical role supporting fixed plant operations. You will work across field and office settings, often on a FIFO or drive-in/drive-out roster, with occasional travel and some remote work flexibility.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$$94,100 - 124,400 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
