Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Finisher/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves working on various concrete projects, including finishing, formwork, and restoration tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, including masonry, carpentry, and the operation of power tools and heavy equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in concrete finishing and related trades within a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces using hand tools and power tools
Assist with rebar installation, concrete forming, and blueprint reading to ensure accurate project execution
Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and moving materials around the job site
Use carpentry skills for framing, formwork setup, and modifications as needed
Conduct demolition or removal of old structures as part of renovation projects
Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during heavy lifting and equipment operation

Qualifications

Proven experience in concrete finishing,
Mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving heavy lifting
Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills

This role is vital for ensuring high-quality concrete work that meets project specifications. Candidates with a background in concrete and construction trades such as masonry, carpentry, or restoration are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
