Full job description

Nestled along the scenic Bay of Fundy, Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa is a full-service Resort serving up East Coast hospitality at its best. With an amazing restaurant, a Stanley Thompson golf course, and amenities galore (did we mention outdoor heated pool), we are dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Server to join our team. You may be placed in either Churchill's/Trophy Room/Grand Lounge and will rotate as per business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
Present menus, take orders, and provide information on daily specials.
Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
Ensure tables are properly set and maintained during service.
Upsell menu items, including beverages and add-ons, to enhance guest experience.
Clear tables efficiently and assist with resetting for the next guests.
Handle guest inquiries and address any concerns professionally.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling.
Process payments.
Keep areas clean, restock supplies, and handle trash/recycling.
Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
Participate in cross-training for the Banquet Server role to support events and functions as required.

Qualifications:

Previous serving experience (1 year) in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays (Banquet shifts will also include evening shifts).
A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of breakfast menus and beverages is an asset.
Serve Right Nova Scotia is required.
Food Handlers course is required.
