Full job description

YJ Threehills LTD. o/a Super 8 Three Hills by Wyndhamis looking for a Front Desk Clerk (NOC 64314) (Permanent / Full time position)

- Job title: Front Desk Clerk

- Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time

- Location: 208 18th Ave. North, Three Hills, AB T0M 2A0

- Start Date: As Soon As Possible

- Number of Vacancies: 1

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and process check-ins and check-outs.

- Take, cancel, and modify room reservations and maintain accurate room availability and assignments.

- Answer telephone calls and guest inquiries regarding hotel facilities, services, room rates, and local points of interest.

- Respond to guest requests, concerns, complaints, and claims in a professional and timely manner.

- Process guest departures, calculate charges, receive payments, and issue receipts.

- Balance cash and complete daily cash reports, balance sheets, and related forms.

- Maintain accurate records of vacancies, reservations, room assignments, guest accounts, and other front desk documentation.

- Provide customer service and coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel staff to address guest requests and ensure smooth hotel operations.

Requirements:

- Education:

➢ Secondary school graduation certificate is required

- Experience:

➢ Previous experience in customer service or in a front desk/reception position is an asset

➢ Previous experience in the hospitality or accommodation industry is an asset- Skills:

➢ Ability to communicate effectively in English

➢ Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

➢ Basic computer skills and the ability to use reservation and front desk systems

➢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

➢ Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings/night shift, weekends and holidays

Wage & Benefits

- Wage: $17.00 per hour

- Working hours: 32 to 40 hours per week

- Benefits: 4% vacation pay
