Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to grow within the food industry while contributing to a welcoming and efficient kitchen atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation
Support serving staff by preparing orders promptly and accurately
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Assist in plating dishes attractively for presentation
Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen settings preferred
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation practices
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and grow professionally

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
