Career Opportunities
Depending on your experience and skills, you may be considered for one of the following positions:
- Appointment Setter – Generate qualified appointments and introduce homeowners to the benefits of solar energy.
- Solar Advisor – Meet with homeowners, educate them on solar solutions, and guide them through the sales process.
- Solar Closer – Conduct in-home consultations and help homeowners confidently move forward with their solar investment.
Placement is based on your experience, skills, and the interview process. We are committed to setting you up in the role where you are most likely to succeed, with clear opportunities to advance as your performance grows.
What You'll Do
Depending on the role you are selected for, responsibilities may include:
- Educating homeowners about the benefits of solar energy.
- Generating qualified appointments through face-to-face outreach, including door-to-door prospecting.
- Conducting in-home consultations and sales presentations.
- Building trust and long-term customer relationships.
- Managing customer follow-up and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with teammates and leadership to maximize results.
- Achieving and exceeding personal performance goals while representing HQ Energy professionally.

Previous experience in sales, customer service, automotive, telecommunications, insurance, retail, hospitality, or door-to-door sales is considered an asset, but is not required. Comprehensive training is provided.
Minimum Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's licence.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Fluent in English.
- Comfortable with face-to-face outreach, including door-to-door prospecting.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extended periods of walking and standing.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required.
