We currently have an opening in our Stoney Creek location for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our team.
Job Overview
- Perform safe & efficient inspections, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of industrial equipment (including but not limited to overhead cranes, lifting equipment, concrete mixers, steel molds, mobile equipment and other tools & machinery)
- Fabricate, install, and/or repair parts and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance work and inspections
Your Experience
- Certified Red Seal (433A) or min. 2 year apprenticeship completion.
- Welding & fabricating experience an asset.
- Mechanical experience considered an asset.
- Basic electrical knowledge is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work with MS Office Suite of products.
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience, an asset.
- Comfortable working within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a focus on safety.
- Accountable and results driven, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with MS Office Suite of products.
- Must be willing to work all shifts and overtime (both weekday and weekend) with the flexibility to stay late or come in early as required.
