Job Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Behavioral Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families! In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, support positive developmental progress, and foster a nurturing and respectful environment for children with diverse needs. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help empower young clients to reach their full potential while collaborating closely with families, educators, and other professionals.

Duties

Implement individualized, evidence-based behavioral intervention programs under the direction of the supervising clinician.
Collect accurate and objective data on client progress and communicate relevant observations to the clinical team.
Support children in developing communication, social, adaptive, and independence skills through engaging behavioral interventions.
Promote skill acquisition and reduction of challenging behaviors using ethical, evidence-based behavioral strategies.
Follow treatment protocols, behavior plans, safety procedures, and organizational policies consistently.
Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to promote consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, data collection, client progress, and relevant observations.
Protect client confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times.
Participate in ongoing training, supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities.
Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients, families, coworkers, and supervisors.

Qualifications

Experience working with children in educational, clinical, behavioral, or therapeutic settings is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), special education principles, or developmental support strategies is an asset.
Ability to implement behavioral programs consistently and accurately.
Strong observation, data collection, and documentation skills.
Compassionate and respectful approach when working with children and families.
Ability to accept and implement feedback from supervisors and clinical team members.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations, where applicable.
Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
