Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a General Labourer, where your energy and dedication will drive the success of various construction, maintenance, and site preparation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse tasks that keep operations running smoothly. As a vital member of our workforce, you will perform physically demanding duties with enthusiasm and precision, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Duties

Assist with site cleanup, including debris removal, waste disposal, and organizing materials to maintain a safe and tidy work area
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment using manual handling techniques or basic machinery under supervision
Prepare work sites by setting up barriers, signage, or temporary structures as needed for safety and project requirements
Support skilled tradespeople by carrying tools, supplies, and equipment to designated areas efficiently
Perform basic construction tasks such as assembling scaffolding under guidance
Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify hazards or safety concerns and report them promptly
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety and that of team members at all times

Qualifications

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
Basic understanding of construction sites or manual labour environments is preferred but not required
Reliable punctuality and commitment to completing assigned tasks efficiently
Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously to maintain a secure work environment
