TYLin is seeking is seeking a 4 month Intern with an academic background focused in Civil Engineering and an interest/focus in Traffic or Municipal Engineering to join our TYLin - City Solutions team. This position will be based in our Toronto, Ontario office.
What You Will Do

Assist with the preparation of transportation impact studies, functional plans, and multimodal corridor concepts, complete streets design, and active transportation plans for urban streets, corridors, and public realm environments.

Assist with multimodal transportation network planning, traffic operations and parking demand investigations, analyses and recommendations report writing, and site impact analysis.

Provide support for project packages, such as high-level AutoCAD quantity take-offs and Class C and Class D cost estimates, etc.

Support the preparation of graphics, maps, and presentation materials for planning and urban design studies.

Your Education and Experience

Currently enrolled towards a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil3D and/or ArcGIS an asset

Prior experience in preparing transportation studies and functional servicing reports a plus
