Job Description
We are seeking experienced Commercial Ironworkers, including Journeypersons, and Apprentices, to join teams working on a variety of industrial construction projects. These roles involve steel erection, rigging, welding, and ensuring safety compliance while working at heights on large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Erect structural steel, bolting, and impacting at heights up to 150ft.
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of work.
- Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments.
- Rig and set heavy steel modules, scaffolding, cranes, and hoisting equipment.
- Work safely at heights and in confined spaces, following safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson/Apprentice Ironworker certification with a recognized provincial training authority (or equivalent).
- Fall Protection certifications (required for certain positions).
- 2+ years of experience in steel erection, rigging, or welding.
- Ability to complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Basic Ironworker tools required.
