Job Summary
The Windermere Golf & Country Club is an equity-based private club in Edmonton, Alberta, and exists for the exclusive use of its Shareholders, Associate Members, Sponsored Members and Guests. Windermere’s vision is to be “The Golfer’s Private Club of Choice” and is considered by many to be one of the finest golf clubs in Western Canada. The course has seen a complete renovation and is consistently ranked within the top 100 courses in Canada by Score Golf. The addition of a beautiful new clubhouse in 2011 has allowed the club to elevate its offerings to members and guests. We are looking for a Clubhouse Manager, reporting to the General Manager, who brings an organized, hands-on, and service driven approach to oversee the daily administration and operations of our Front of House Food and Beverage department, while acting as central operational liaison for Clubhouse support services and vendors.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable balancing administrative leadership, team management, event coordination, and operational problem-solving.
The Clubhouse Manager plays a key role in maintaining a high standard of member and guest experience while ensuring smooth day-to-day clubhouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Administration & Operations
· Oversee and execute all administrative functions for Front of House Food & Beverage operations
· Manage product ordering, inventory control, and supplier coordination
· Create, update, print, and maintain menus and supporting materials
· Ensure consistency of club branding and member-facing communications
· Maintain and update POS systems, including menu programming and modifiers
· Process payroll and labour tracking
· Execute budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for Front of House Food & Beverage operations
· Review and process vendor invoices
· Monitor online reviews and guest feedback platforms
· Coordinate website updates and member-facing communications related to F&B operations
Staffing & Team Leadership
· Recruit, onboard, train, and support Front of House staff
· Build and manage staff schedules based on operational needs
· Maintain training standards and operational procedures
· Support a positive, team-oriented workplace culture focused on elevated service standards
Events & Member Experience
· Coordinate event inquiries, bookings, contracts, and event logistics
· Act as the primary point of contact for private functions, member events, and entertainment coordination
· Work closely with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure successful event execution
Clubhouse & Vendor Coordination
· Manage and coordinate both in-house and third-party cleaning crews
· Coordinate handyman and general maintenance scheduling as required
· Serve as the primary point of contact for:
o Facility Services
o Jonas Club Software
o Technology providers
o Non-golf and non-F&B vendors
· Assist in troubleshooting operational and facility-related issues across the clubhouse
Qualifications
· Previous hospitality, restaurant, or event management experience required
· Strong administrative and organizational skills
· Experience with scheduling, payroll, inventory
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with event coordination and client communication is an asset
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Jonas Club Software

Compensation
The Windermere Golf & Country Club will offer an attractive compensation package, commensurate with experience. The package includes base salary, medical and dental benefits, RRSP matching, paid vacation, meals, professional development allowance, cell phone allowance, uniform allowance and golf privileges.
